Erotic model Mitsu Dan wears next to nothing for ‘Safe House’ DVD premiere in Tokyo

It’s not a new concept to say that “sex sells,” but sometimes advertising and promotion agencies do little more than beat you over the head with it. Such is the case last week when Mitsu Dan, a “gravure idol”, or erotic model, known for the recent SM movie Be My Slave, and pushing the envelope, attended the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the U.S. film Safe House in Tokyo’s Roppongi District wearing little more than a bra and thong. And then proceeding to stick the movie in her panties.

Pictures from the December 17th event quickly spread among Japanese internet users, for obvious reasons. It was blatantly clear that Mitsu, referring to her self as “Dangerous Dan,” had nothing to do with the movie, known as Dangerous Run in Japan. And while the advertising tactic of using her to get people to talk about the film’s release has worked in theory, no one is really talking about the movie, only her shocking appearance. While Mitsu started off with a Santa Claus jacket, she quickly shed that to appear in a tube-top bra, knee-high boots, and a mini skirt which she pulled down to reveal her thong.

Dan was asked several revealing questions about herself during the press event, providing answers that certainly got people talking. Safe House stars Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, and when asked which Hollywood star she would prefer to date, Mitsu’s response was that she’d like to make out with Reynolds while being spanked by Washington. Uh, ok.
