It was just almost a month ago when Nestle Japan made chocolate lovers in the country extremely happy by releasing a Kit Kat that you can also bake in your oven. Now pizza restaurants and cafes in the country are quickly riding on this trend by adding the sweet confections to their dishes.
The “Bake ‘N Tasty Mini Kit Kats Custard Pudding Flavor” (now that’s a yummy mouthful) will now be offered at the pizza chains Napoli No Kama and Strawberry Cones, and also at Wired Cafe and Moriva Coffee all over the country. Kit Kat pizza sounds like a concoction dreamed up by hungry college students, but now everyone who visits those places will be able to experience a salty and sweet party in their mouth. Napoli started serving their Kit Kat and Mango Dolce Pizza pizza on Friday, marketing it as a “sweet pizza for adults” and setting you back around $16. They also now have the Baked Kit Kat and Mango Dessert Pizza for a lesser price of $13. While Westerners may balk at having sweet pizza flavors in the menu, Napoli has actually been offering these desert-type pizzas for some time now.
Wired Cafe created the Baked Kit Kat Cara-melted Sundae, which combines the chocolate with vanilla ice cream, and then for a bit of healthy stuff, fruits and granola, which will be perfect for the coming summer. Moriva Coffee will have Kit Kat fans clawing at their cafes when they start offering the Baked Kit Kat Sundae: Bake ‘N Tasty Pudding Flavor starting this April. Not only does it have the baked chocolate, it also has crushed Kit Kats to top the soft-serve ice cream with sauce anglaise. So excuse us now while we cool off and overload on all these limited sweet offerings and go into a sugar coma.
