Nihonbashi hosts Goldfish exhibition

The Art Aquarium and Night Aquarium Exhibit called Edo Cooling Goldfish, is an innovative way to exhibit goldfish in such a delectable manner. The event sponsored by Diners Card, is open till September 24th at the Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Unique aquariums with strategically placed lighting and unusual settings make the display tantalizingly different.

Hidetomo Kimura, the art aquarium producer of this event has depicted the Japanese summer motif of kingyo, effectively. Kingyo (goldfish) are iconic of Japanese summer, making appearances everywhere from festivals to patterns used on seasonal kimonos. The daytime exhibition is held from 11:00 am till 7:00 pm after which, the place transforms into a bar where one can enjoy mood-setting music and lighting, along with an alcoholic beverage, till 11:30 pm.

Hidetomo Kimura has held exhibits in Tokyo, Roppongi Hills as well as in Kyoto and Hyogo. With this many goldfish in one place, this set of works is simply amazing a must-watch! While these pictures alone are mesmerizing, if any of you readers out there make the visit, please share your experience with us in the comments!
