Docomo, Japan's largest mobile operator, and
Line, the most popular mobile messaging app in Japan right now, are forming a partnership to offer collaborative services for their Japanese customers. Two apps will be developed under their collaboration, one for the Raku Raku smartphone range and the other for Docomo customers that use Line for Android.

Fujitsu’s
Raku-Raku Smartphone F-12D, a mobile phone sporting a modified Android platform, has been awarded Germany's Universal Design Award 2013 and Universal Design Consumer Favorite award 2013. The Raku-Raku Smartphone, released in the summer of 2012, was specifically designed to target elderly phone users.

Japan's
Fujitsu has said it will begin its first sales of mobile phones outside the domestic market, starting with the release of its senior-friendly smartphone. Known as the
Raku-Raku in Japan, the Android 4.0-powered device will be first released in its home country in August, but will make its debut in France sometime during the second half of the year, and on the carrier Orange.

Fujitsu, the large Japanese electronics manufacturer, has unveiled a new smartphone that is specifically designed to appeal elderly users. By collaborating with Google, Fujitsu has
designed a new Android interface that is more simplified than recent versions, and has paired the device with a unique type of touchscreen. The new F-12D is part of the company's RakuRaku line, named after the Japanese word meaning "easy" or "comfortable."
