Lady Gaga fans, if you didn’t get a chance to bid for her lipstick imprinted charity tea cup, then here is another chance for you to make up. The Lady Gaga Fame perfume will make its debut in Japan, exactly a month prior to the international debut. According to Itochu Corp, the perfume will hit the shelves on August 1st; whereas the international launch will be in September.
Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku shopping centre in Shibuya will host a limited-period launch. As a part of the promo, the building will display a message from Lady Gaga just for her fans. Manufactured by Coty Beauty Inc., the bottles are priced at ¥4,725 ($60) for a 30-ml bottle, ¥5,985 ($75) for 50 ml and ¥9,975 ($126) for 100 ml. Department store sales will begin in September with the rest of the world.
Lady Gaga’s brush with Japan has been on and off for a long time now. Previously she was on the other side of the law due to the controversial sale of wristbands for charity. In order to settle a federal lawsuit filed in the U.S., Lady Gaga was to donate $107,500 to the victims of the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
